New Referee Certification Clinics

2010 New USSoccer (USSF) Referee Certification Clinics:

Novice Referees (USSF Grade 9)

• Information on the definition of a Novice Referee and registration can be located at: http://www.www.ohnrefs.org/join.htm   
• The summer clinic below is good for the fall of 2010 and alll of 2011.  You would have to re-register (and test) for 2012.
• Select this link Register as a New Referee  for additional information. 
• Do not forget to bring a copy of the printed online registration and OYSAN Risk Management support with you on the first day.  Note:  The USSoccer (USSF) fees paid online and OYSAN Risk Management approval will cover both the Novice and Bridge clinics.
• Bring a $20 check payable to GCSOA for setting up the location and running the clinic.

Bridge Clinics (USSF Grade 8) 

• The second day of any clinic for New Referees or existing Novice Referees wishing to upgrade to a Grade 8 referee is the Bridge portion of the certification. This clinic is eight (8) hours and you will take a test at the end of that day.
• The summer clinic below is good for the fall of 2010 and alll of 2011.  You would have to re-register (and test) for 2012.

• New Referees: See Novice Referee section above.  
• Registration for Existing Grade 9 Referees upgrading to a Grade 8 referee.  Select this link:  Register for a Bridge Clinic and proceed to the Bridge Clinic detail on the page.    
• Both New and Existing Grade 9 Referees:  Do not forget to bring a copy of the printed online registration and OYSAN Risk Management support with you on the first day of the Bridge clinic.
• Bring an additional $20 check payable to GCSOA for setting up the location and running the bridge clinic.

No New Referee Clinics are scheduled at this time.

Recertification Clinics  

Referee Recertification (USSF Grade 7, 8, 9)

• Registration , clinic selections for a GCSOA sponsored clinic and paying USSF State and National fees are performed at:  https://www.ussoccer.info/ .  Refer to information received from  the U.S. Soccer Federation in the mail for detailed instructions from U.S. Soccer.

• Perform OYSAN Risk Management section.  See OYSAN Risk Management Instructions section on the USSF page for details. Scroll down six (6) sections

• Do not forget to bring a copy of the printed online USSF registration and OYSAN Risk Management support with you.
