Josh Sherman was named GCSOA's Youth Referee
of the Year for 2007.
Our 1st Vice-President, Brian Miller, presented Joshwith a plaque to commemorate
the outstanding refereeing services that Josh has provided throughout
the year.
In addition to receiving this prestigious award from GCSOA, Josh was
nominated as
Young Male Referee of the Year for the Ohio Youth Soccer Association
North and won
this award
as well. Josh is the first GCSOA to be name OYSAN Young Male Referee of
the Year
since 2001.
Josh is a college freshman pursuing
a degree incriminal justice
locally.

Achievement Award
LUCKY KRAMER
A professional soccer player
in Hungary in 1938, who then played in Italy from 1940 to
1945, he came to Cleveland in 1948 and played for several
amateur teams before turning to officiating in the mid
50's. Organized the Lake Erie Referees Association in
1957, and in 1962 became a charter member of the Intercollegiate Soccer
Officials Association. Officiated hundreds of amateur
league, high school, collegiate and professional games. Has
been named to the United States Soccer Federation Hall of Fame and has
been recognized by the NCAA for his officiating.
